It is exciting! And really kind of amazing. Unfortunately I have no relatives left to connect me to the older generations, they've all passed away. I can count on one hand the pictures left that are older than the 1940s. I didn't think I could get past my grandparents, but thanks to so many records now being online, and dna I can connect myself to the past. Which is just the coolest thing. It's like watching history come alive, my history. Fantastic!
