I don't know a lot about the various markers, but the names at the left are the earliest known male-line ancestor for the owners of the kit on that row. The rows between the colored rows are "groups" where everyone's Y chromosome DNA matched. So those people provide interesting hints for each other by comparing their earliest known Kauffman ancestor.

My kit is grouped with only the one other kit, with Reason Coffman the earliest known Kauffman ancestor for that other person. But if you can find your Kauffman relation, you can look at the other people listed in that group and see if you get any clues from them.
