I live in Halifax, so my twitter today has been full of stuff about the Titanic and what's available at the Nova Scotia Archives & Records Management site.
On this day in 1912, the Titanic sank mid-Atlantic. 1, 518 passengers and crew died.
Digitized news magazines from April and May 1912 that cover the loss of the Titanic
List of bodies recovered and deposition of same
Some photos:
Ship recovering a body
Body being made ready for coffin
Hearses waiting at the dock (that's right near my flat!)
Outside of make-shift morgue
